For some good eats:
I don’t know if the shrimp and grits at Barracuda Bob’s are life-changing; but they definitely comes close. Plenty of other great seafood (and otherwise) dishes to choose from too .
Six Pence Pub is my personal go-to place for a meal out. British-pub style eats like Shepherd’s Pie and bangers and mash; pot roast, pork loin, and other comfort food-entrees; and lighter fare including sandwiches, soups and salads. Did I mention the pot roast…?
Sandfly Bar-B-Q –definitely the best Q in Savannah. Located at the corner of Barnard and Henry streets in the old Streamliner diner. Come hungry. Leave happy. Check out The Wally…
Henry’s is the best diner in town. Located at the corner of Drayton and Congress streets, it serves up a great breakfast (buffet and otherwise) and light lunch. You can pay a bunch more downtown and get a whole lot less…
Looking for fresh and eclectic? Check out Kayak Café on Broughton St. for great salads, wild shrimp tacos, Black-Eyed Pea Burgers, Lime-Chicken Enchiladas – you get the idea.
