What is so special about a small-group walking tour?
We limit the number of guests on all Savannah Sidewalk Tours to 10 in order to provide a more authentic, personal, informative, and entertaining experience for each individual.
How do I purchase tickets?
Admission to all Savannah Sidewalk Tours can be purchased by calling us at (912) 232-0575; tours can also be quickly and securely booked online through our website. Our online booking is powered and secured with 2048-bit encryption by FareHarbor.
Do I have to purchase tickets in advance?
We recommend purchasing your tickets well in advance. Each tour is limited to 10 guests, so early purchase increases your chances of getting the tour you want, when you want it.
How far do we walk, and how long?
We walk at a leisurely pace with frequent stops. Our tours typically cover a little more than one mile over the course of about 2 hours.
What about the weather?
We walk rain or shine, cold, temperate, or hot. Please dress appropriately.
Should I bring anything with me for the tour?
Please bring your ticket voucher, either printed out on paper, or on the screen of your smartphone or other mobile device. You’ll probably also want to be wearing a pair of comfortable walking shoes, and bring a bottle of water as well.
Are cameras allowed?
What about children?
All Savannah Sidewalk Tours are suitable for the entire family. However, only you can be the judge of whether your child has the interest, attention span and the physical endurance they need for a walking tour such as ours. In the company of a paying adult, children 8 – 13 can come on our tours at a reduced rate; those under 8 are free.
May I bring my pet?
Well-behaved pets are always welcome.
Where can I park my car?
There are three parking garages and numerous metered parking spaces within easy walking distance of our starting point. Street-level parking meters and time limit zone regulations are enforced Monday through Friday from 8AM until 5PM.
Are restrooms available along the way?
There are usually restrooms available – but not a lot of them – along the way, depending upon the route we follow. We recommend you use facilities prior to your tour.
Is the tour wheelchair and stroller accessible?
Savannah sidewalks can be difficult to navigate. Please let us know ahead of time of any special needs, and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Should we tip our guide?
Only if you feel a tip has been earned.
Are private tours available?
Yes. Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or (912) 232-0575
